Introduction
(0.4-3)x1850mm Stainless Steel Flying Shear Cut to Length Machine is a production line designed to cut the stainless steel coils to different length. This stainless steel rotary shear cut to length line is specially design for stainless steel thickness 0.4-3mm, for stainless steel sheet width maximum 1850mm, with non-stop flying shear type cutting speed of 80m/min.
Working Process
Put stainless steel coil on preparation saddle→coil car loads coil to uncoiler→automatic laser centralizing→snubber roller press on coil top→take off coil strapping→uncoiling→double pinch rolls and 5rolls preleveler,→loop1→side guide, edge trimmer, scrap winder→loop2→side guide, 6 high fine leveler→NC length feeder→Rotary Shear→Belt conveyor→Dual Stackers→output

Technical Advantage of this Stainless Steel Flying Shear Cut to Length Machine:
- This stainless steel rotary shear cut to length line is designed with chrome plated roller, rubber coated roller, pneumatic collecting rack, etc, which can perfectly protect the stainless steel sheet surface.
- The contract between the support roller base of the leveling machine and the upper and lower beams adopts the form of spherical contact. When the support roller is adjusted, it can be aligned freely to ensure that the support roller and the intermediate roller are in line contact, which is beneficial to protecting the work roller. The leveling roller keeps running at a slow speed during NC feeding to protect the board surface.
- It can continuously cut a variety of length specifications at once time without stopping the machine.
- All welded structural parts of this stainless steel flying shear cut to length machine are tempered in a large tempering furnace after welding to completely eliminate welding stress and will not affect the stability of equipment accuracy due to the release of residual internal stress and deformation.
- All big parts are machining by huge machine tool or CNC center one time completely to ensure the machining precision.
JINYE designs and builds coil slitting lines and stainless steel flying shear cut to length lines at its works in Wuxi, China, test-running every line as a complete unit before shipment. The company has been building coil processing equipment since 2000 and sells in over 100 countries.
This 0.4-3 x 1850 mm line is configured to the coil grade, strip width and cut length of the plant it runs in; tell us those three figures and we will confirm the arrangement and the price.

Q & A
1.Q: What is the maximum sheet width?
A: 1850 mm, in 0.4-3 mm stainless coil. That width is chosen by producers whose finished panels are wider than a 1500 mm line can handle.
2.Q: What cutting speed does it run at?
A: 80 m/min with non-stop flying shear cutting. The shear travels with the strip, so the line does not slow down for each cut.
3.Q: How is the coil loaded and centred?
A: Coil is placed on the preparation saddle, the coil car loads it onto the uncoiler, then automatic laser centring aligns it before the snubber roller presses on the coil top and the strapping is removed.
4.Q: What leveling is used before cutting?
A: Double pinch rolls and a five-roll leveler flatten the strip before the loop and the shear. Leveling before cutting is what keeps the finished sheet flat instead of showing coil set.
5.Q: What is the line layout?
A: Uncoiler and coil car at the entry, pinch rolls and leveler, loop pit, flying shear, run-out table and stacker at the exit, with the control desk alongside the shear.
Build standards and working accuracy
Which components and brands go into a cut to length line?
Structural parts are welded to a minimum throat of two thirds the thinner plate, shot-blasted before painting and finished with two top coats. Uncoiler, slitter and recoiler shafts are forged 42CrMo and supplied with a material certificate; gears are 20CrMnTi, case-hardened and ground. Bearings, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical parts come from named suppliers — Yuken valves, AirTac cylinders, HIWIN linear guides, Mitsubishi or Siemens PLC, Proface HMI, OMRON sensors — and the final bill of components is fixed on the approved drawing for each line.
Which shear and leveling arrangement does the line use?
A medium gauge line uses a servo track flying shear that follows the leveling speed and cuts on the move; heavy gauge plate is leveled twice, pre-leveling and fine leveling, to relieve internal stress before shearing, and stainless or aluminium coil is edge trimmed ahead of the cut. The arrangement follows the gauge, the material and the surface the sheet has to keep.
How is the line installed and supported after delivery?
Engineers attend the customer's plant to supervise installation and train the operators on the line as built. Spare parts are supplied at any time, and remote technical support stays available for the life of the machine.
