Heavy Gauge HR Steel sheet is carbon steel sheets Q235, Q345, S355, Yield strength ≤270Mpa Tensile strength≤465Mpa, the leveler cut to length line is heavy duty including decoiler, one or double levelers, shear, convey roll table and stacker. The sheet length measuring is encoder in encoding roller installed on leveler. For HR sheets, stacker is simple structure: pinch rolls sends sheet on stacking rack and then pushers push the sheet neat. Double levelers mean pre leveler for rough leveling and main leveler for fine leveling, pre leveler is 2 hi, fine leveler is four high, the synchronization between them are controlled by speed controllers under PLC.

Characters:
1.Uncoiler / Decoiler
heavy cut to length line handle heavy steel coils of heavy gauge. the uncoiler has double mandrels and strong sliding bases.
Each mandrel has three steps, the opening and closing of two mandrels by hydraulic cylinders.
Back tension mechanism installed on top of uncoiler base, to ensure uncoiling stability.
2.Portal frame coil head opener
Portal frame is very strong, with snubber press roller ,straightening roller on top of the frame.
the hydraulic snubber roll press on top of steel coil, and its pressing-down angle is adjustable
Straightening roller can slide forward backward to track strip head and straighten it.
Shoveling plate installed on preleveler support the coil head while straighten roller press coil head.
3. first 2+5 pre leveler
the roller is huge and strong, reliefing internal stress of steel coil, roller surface is hardened and chrome coated
To relief the uncoiling bending stress to relaxed state.
4.Heavy duty leveler
number of heavy duty leveler will be 13pcs, 11pcs, 9ocs, diameter of rollers will be 180mm -230mm -300mm,
The gap and angle of upper rollers and lower rollers can be adjusted.
No stop leveling, the leveler continuously working without pressing steel plate while synchro cutting, this is good for protecting steel plate surface without leaving roller mark
When shear is stop cutting, the leveler is clutched and stopped under encoder measuring.
5.Hydraulic shear
Track Shear: Synchro High frequency cutting and strong frame, strong hydraulic station for shearing, big servo motor for synchro tracking steel plate running.
Hydraulic rocking shear is stop cutting under encoder measuring.
6.Automatic control, the whole process is under PLC control in auto mode.
Q & A
1.Q: What thickness range does this line cover?
A: 1.5-12 mm at up to 2000 mm width. It sits between the light gauge lines and the 16 mm heavy line, so one machine covers both 1.5 mm sheet and 12 mm plate work.
2.Q: What leveling arrangement is used?
A: A five-roller leveler with 220 mm rolls and a 55-75 kW drive for initial flattening, followed by an 11-roller four-high leveler with 190 mm rolls and a 132 kW drive for final flatness.
3.Q: What coil weight is supported?
A: 20-30 t, with a double mandrel uncoiler of 500-800 mm inside diameter rated at 30 t.
4.Q: Are edge trimming and scrap handling included?
A: Both are optional on this model: a separate-body edge trimmer with frequency control for 3-8 mm edge trim, and a scrap winder with hydraulic push mounted over the roll table. They are specified with the order.
5.Q: How is the strip cut?
A: A heavy-duty hydraulic shear rated 22 kW cuts the leveled strip and a 4000 mm roll table feeds it. A 6000 mm pit accumulator keeps the line running while the shear cycles.
Build standards and working accuracy
Which components and brands go into a cut to length line?
Structural parts are welded to a minimum throat of two thirds the thinner plate, shot-blasted before painting and finished with two top coats. Uncoiler, slitter and recoiler shafts are forged 42CrMo and supplied with a material certificate; gears are 20CrMnTi, case-hardened and ground. Bearings, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical parts come from named suppliers — Yuken valves, AirTac cylinders, HIWIN linear guides, Mitsubishi or Siemens PLC, Proface HMI, OMRON sensors — and the final bill of components is fixed on the approved drawing for each line.
Which shear and leveling arrangement does the line use?
A medium gauge line uses a servo track flying shear that follows the leveling speed and cuts on the move; heavy gauge plate is leveled twice, pre-leveling and fine leveling, to relieve internal stress before shearing, and stainless or aluminium coil is edge trimmed ahead of the cut. The arrangement follows the gauge, the material and the surface the sheet has to keep.
How is the line installed and supported after delivery?
Engineers attend the customer's plant to supervise installation and train the operators on the line as built. Spare parts are supplied at any time, and remote technical support stays available for the life of the machine.
